DIRECTIONS

Sheraton Sports Complex is located in the North East quadrant of the intersection of I-70 and Blue Ridge Cut-Off. It is very large and well marked. This can be described as the East Central portion of the Metro. As you exit I-70 onto Blue Ridge Cut-Off, go North a very short distance and turn East on E.39th St.


DETAILS

THE 87TH - 512TH Fighter Interceptor Squadron Association 2009 Reunion will be held at the Kansas City Sheraton Sports Complex Hotel, 9103 East 39th Street, Kansas City, Missouri on the l7th, l8th, and 19th of September, 2009. All Members, Spouses, Kids and guests are welcome.

There are forty (40) rooms reserved for the Association Reunion. Rooms contain standard king size beds at the rate of $89.00 plus tax per day for the 17th, 18th, and 19th of September 2009. Individual room reservations not received by the cut off date (Thur 3rd of September ) will be accepted on a space available basis. Check in time is 4pm on date of arrival, check out time is ll:00am on day of departure.

Reservations may be made by calling 1-800—325-3535. Be sure to mention that you are attending the 5l2th FIS Association Reunion during the l7th, 18th and 19th of September 2009.

Transportation from the airport to the Hotel and Hotel to the airport: In view ofthe high cost of transportation to and from the Hotel and airport, we have arranged with the hotel to provide transportation to and from. The cost is $50.00 per vehicle ( 1-4 passengers ) dedicated service. No picking up or dropping off at other hotels. All Major Credit Cards accepted. Friendly and Courteous drivers. BOOK IN ADVANCE for best results. Booking at least 24 hours in advance enables the hotel to "pair" you with others in the group in order to split fares. Any group over 30 requires 72 hours advance notice. For information or to make reservations, Contact JIM GWINN at (816) 547-0178. Be sure to tell him you are attending the 512th FIS Reunion. Furnish JIM the date, time of arrival, name of airline and flight number.

A shuttle from the hotel to the Country Club Plaza and other short distant activities is available at no cost to members.

THE SCHEDULE FOR THE DURATION OF THE REUNION IS:

Event for Thur, 17 Sep: Registration in Lobby 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Event for Fri, 18 Sep: Free Time. Late comers register in Hospitality Room from 10:00 AM. (Historical note: 18 Sep 1947, USAF established. 62 years. Also POW-MIA day.)

Event for Sat, 19 Sep: Free Time until 2:30 PM when general membership will convene in Hospitality Room. The Evening Banquet will be at 6:00 PM until approximately 8:00 PM.

Event for Sunday, 20 Sep: Farewells and depart preparations. Have a safe trip home.
